We love stopping at the Monroe Hotel when we are in Butler. Very casual setting with no frills. The prices are reasonable, the menu is large, and service is great. We have tried the wings, salads, and several of the dinners. Aside from typical bar food, they also offer some very good specials and more upscale dinner options. The T & F sauce adds a special touch to wings and chicken. This delicious sauce tastes like a combination of buffalo sauce and garlic Parmesan wing sauce combined, and we always make sure to bring a container of sauce home.

You will not get a better meal in Butler. they have everything from bar food to prime rib ( which is excellent)! I have never had a bad meal here. The service is great, the owners are friendly and down to earth! Anytime I have guests from out of town, this is my GO TO place to eat!

I love hometown dive bars, and this was perfect. Great service while sitting at the bar. The bartender recommended the Hot Sausage Sandwich and I was not disappointed; it was amazing.

Always a very wide selection of food and always on point. You won't leave hungry with the large size portions. The staff is friendly and kind and comical. This place is a hidden gem in Butler. You can't go wrong!!

The breakfast build your own omelet is delish. The bloody Mary's are excellent. Parking is easy and the waitstaff are great.

Great food for butler. Love their Italian platter! There's not a wide variety of good Italian food or any of any ethnicity in general locally. The Monroe in my opinion is one of the top three locally. Love the food, the drinks and the staff. definitely a go to.

Yum a love favorite! They have the jumbo (or full) wings! Everything I have ever tried here is delicious! Employees are always friendly and helpful. Menu has lots to pick from. Bar is attached to restaurant area so you can choose which atmosphere you want.

Glad I gave this place another try. A few months back I drove from PGH to butler only for them to be closed with hours not updated on website. I called in advance yesterday just in case. Absolutely delicious sandwich appropriately called "the belly buster" (meatball, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and cheese then baked). Also a side of angel hair Alfredo. Definitely one of my new favorite sandwiches and will drive up north again for it!

I went to the Monroe Hotel for a friends birthday last weekend. We had an entire back area to ourselves and it was awesome. The menu offers a large variety and its pretty normal for pricing. I ordered the large chicken salad thinking the small would be too small and boy was I wrong. The large is huge!!! I actually took half home and ate it for lunch the next day. My friend got the Monroe Burger. It looked amazing. She was able to finish 3/4 of it too! I would love to go back and try one of their burgers. Our waitress was really great. A+ on service. Plenty of parking available as they have 2 lots and there is on street parking.
